Socially Responsible

The MLH family believes that helping our community is an important facet of our business. All employees are encouraged to "get involved" with any cause that moves them.

Outlined below are some of the volunteer services we are proud of:

Women's Center of Rhode Island

Since October 2008, MLH has been providing laundry service to the Center. Each week all of the Centers' bed linens are picked up and returned clean and professionally folded and ready to be put on the shelf. Our volunteer efforts allow the Residential staff to spend more quality time with the women and children at the Center.

The Women's Center of Rhode Island has been providing services to victims of domestic violence since 1974. Their comprehensive services include residential and community based programs aimed at assisting survivors of domestic violence and preventing the occurrence of violence. The Women's Center is the only organization in the Providence/East Providence area serving individual women as well as mothers and their children who are victims of domestic violence.

Supporting Big Sisters of Rhode Island

Have clothes you want to donate but never find the time to get them together and organized?

MLH team can assist you with donations. Just give us a call and we will pick up your donated clothes, clean them and deliver them to Big Sisters of Rhode Island. We will then return the tax deduction form to you for your records.
